I understand your intention of this threat. We all know the books from Robert Goodwin, Treasures from Chris Welch and more.
To reactivate RogerBerlin is not a good idea, he is only specialist for covers, not for articles. This is anyway not your intention.

What shall I say, the line, what is official and what not is really small. I´m a collector too.
For examle, I have all official zippo lighters, some really strange issues of censored houses of the holy cassettes and more. These are knowingly small items but really limited.
I watch for years the immigrant song bronze sculpture from solidsounds limited to 199. All just examples.
I started last year a collection of the Houses Vinyl worldwide. For me, the island edition is the most limited worldwide without promos.
You don´t find any of these things in a list.

My favourite collection area are the books. I just missed a finnish and a hebrew edition the last years. Also in the books area you can find some really limited items nowhere listed.

Not only the official things are important, also the small things can make fun. I enjoy to play with my wife and the kids an evening playing cards. For sure Zep Cards and an Zep bottle opener.
The winds of Thor are blowing cold
