ROBERT PLANT ACOUSTICALLY 1993

During the 1993 European FATE OF NATIONS tour, Robert Plant showcased his acoustic side while appearing on several radio and TV stations to promote his new album.

Fate of Nations is considered by most fans as Robert's best album and best tour. During this time, Robert was tossing around the idea of doing an MTV Unplugged (which was very hot in the 90's), so during every press stop on this European tour, either being radio or television, Robert would do an acoustic set.

Robert has always had a way with rockin on the acoustic jams, and after viewing this DVD, you will see why. He does seem right at home with this stuff. And in pure Robert fashion, the acoustic stuff brings out his humorous side as well.

This is a good one!

LINERS FROM THE DVD------------------->
This special-unplugged DVD features several great moments from this tour, including an acoustic-set at a Italian coffee shop filmed for MTV. Italian radio featuring You Shook Me, Living Lovin' Maid and Elvis' Can't Help Falling In Love, rehearsals of 8:05 and If I Were A Carpenter at the Kings Head in the U.K. and an extremely rare version of Thru' With The Two Step performed in the United States.

Compilation (The last in this series - get it while it lasts)

Disc1:

08. Our Song
09. Bonzo Story 1
10. Bonzo Story 2
11. Bonzo Story 3
12. You Shook Me

12. Interlude #2
13. Interlude #3
14. Goin to Califiornia #1
15. Goin to Califiornia #2
16. No Quarter
17. Aussie Soundcheck
18. Stairway To Heaven

Disc3:
01. I'm the Only One
02. Great Spirit (Acoustic Mix)
03. WLL(29 Palms Single Version)
04. I Can't Quit You
05. Lullaby (San Jose)
06. Shake Your Tree (San Jose)
07. Hey Hey What Can I Do (San Jose)
08. Naked if I want To (Timbukto Version)
09. 805 (Single Version)
10. When The Levee Breaks
11. 29 Palms (I'm An American)

Back before the unplugged craze came & went, Robert Plant went around and fulfilled various radio appearances.
I dunno the Original Sources - Various Tapes (maybe CD's?) that were recorded from the broadcasts some good some not so good.
The Gem here? - It's supposedly the first 14 tracks of disc one. They are from an "Unplugged" Italian show that was never broadcast.
There's also a few tracks that Robert picks from his collection also.
There's a few Plant & Page Items here on disc 2 as well as unplugged Plant.
I Dunno why GTC has duplicate parts and there's a terrible static at the end of the first one? but, for purity sake... Uh - I left it there.
Some are also from the San Jose 1995 FM broadcast I believe. Lullaby as well as Shake Your Tree. Odd Plant vocal trax.
When the Levee Breaks - Was this an alternate intro idea to the "UnLedded" MTV project?
Last but not least, another version of 29 Palms...
